Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Taylor, MI is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II for an on-call role with a 11:00pm–7:00am schedule. You will perform high-complexity testing, apply independent judgment, and support QC, maintenance, and documentation per SOPs. Requires 1 year of lab experience; 3 years preferred.

BS in MT or related field; ASCP preferred. Eligible for 401(k) with company match, on-call benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or related field required or equivalent
• ASCP certification preferred by employer
• 1 year of full-time clinical lab experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform high/compexity testing with independence and judgment
• Maintain QC and troubleshoot instruments and procedures
• Enter results into LIS and ensure timely reporting to physicians
• Adhere to SOPs, CLIA, HIPAA and safety requirements
