Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist II for Marlborough, MA (On-Call). You will perform moderate to high complexity tests, support quality control, troubleshoot instruments, and help train staff.

On-call duties may qualify for 401(k) and Roth IRA benefits after service milestones. The role requires a BS/BA in Medical Technology or related field (or an Associate degree with experience).

Qualifications

• One (1) year full-time experience or training (high complexity testing) in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience with most current year in present department.
• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry, or Associates degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform test procedures of moderate/high complexity in designated specialties with independent judgement.
• Provide support in quality control, troubleshooting, instrument maintenance, staff training and process improvement.
• Enter test results into the Laboratory Information System for standardized reporting to physicians.
