Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift to deliver high‑quality patient care. You will assess patients, administer medications, document in EPIC, and work with physicians and a collaborative team to ensure safe transitions of care.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license with BLS and ACLS within six months, with a BSN preferred, and prior Med/Surg/Telemetry experience.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing with BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire is required.
• BSN strongly preferred; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on nursing care per policy.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families to support informed post-discharge care.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team communication.
