Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post ICU-V unit at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This per diem day shift role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration with physicians, and a commitment to patient education and safety.

Candidates must hold an active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS within six months, and preferably a BSN. Experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry and EPIC EMR proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Requires active New Jersey RN license and NJ endorsement in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
