Job summary

Hope is a clinical, educational, and therapeutic provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Hope Residential Academy provides residential placement for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in thirteen community-based, family-style homes.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age or older, with one of the following qualifications.
• 60 semester hours of college credit in a human services or related field with 2+ years of full-time experience in a residential child care program and related skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field or 5+ years of supervised experience in a congregate care environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise implementation of programs and services for clients.
• Ensure ongoing health and safety of each client and guide staff in health and well-being.
• Keep group schedules current and integrate programs into schedules.
• Guide staff in program implementation for challenging clients.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicate with clinical staff, direct-care staff, and parents/guardians.

Education

60 semester hours of college credit in a human services or related field

Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field

5+ years of supervised experience in a congregate care environment
