Job summary

aHope INC. is seeking a Lead Residential Support Professional to provide direct care for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home environment.

You will support in developing skills for autonomy while following client-centered support plans and company policies. The role involves training new staff, collaborating with the House Manager, and ensuring program operations meet organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Active driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift, push and pull 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful clearance of state background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to children with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Assist house manager to ensure programs meet policies and procedures.
• Interview potential hires and assist in staff training.
• Coaching and on-call duties as needed.
• Coordinate client activities, meals, and transportation when applicable.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policies and state regulations.
