Job summary

Carvana seeks a Safe & Secure Team member to keep the site open, safe, and moving. This boots-on-the-ground role covers gate operations, vehicle scans, safety audits, and equipment restocking across all weather.

You’ll be trained in first aid, CPR, AED and will partner with Inspection Center and Logistics teams. Strong communication and quick decision-making are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A track record of solid decision-making in a complex, fast-moving environment.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and connect with people quickly.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle conflict in a positive, productive way.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and actively listen to signals and feedback.
• Use the Unified Security Platform to monitor cameras and investigate alerts.
• De-escalate and collaborate with partners to resolve issues quickly.
