Job summary

Carvana’s Safe & Secure team protects associates, customers, and thousands of vehicles at the site. This boots-on-the-ground role involves guarding the gate, conducting safety audits, and coordinating with on-site partners to keep the location safe and open in all weather conditions.

You’ll monitor security systems, enforce procedures, and support emergency protocols with a service-first mindset. This is a full-time hourly position at Carvana in Eugene, Oregon.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A track record of solid decision-making in a complex, fast-moving environment.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and connect with people quickly.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle conflict in a positive, productive way.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and actively listen to signals.
• Monitor live cameras, review footage, and investigate intrusion alerts.
• Run point at the gate using SAS App and RFID tech, enforcing ingress/egress procedures.
• Document vehicle movement and support safety protocols and audits.
