Job summary

Carvana is seeking a boots-on-the-ground Safe & Secure team member to protect associates, customers, and vehicles at the gate and on the lot. You’ll monitor security, engage with visitors, and support safety audits while upholding high standards in all weather and conditions.

This is a full-time hourly role with strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and rapid decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A track record of solid decision-making in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly, actively listening to signals.
• Monitor live cameras and investigate alerts to keep the site safe.
• De-escalate incidents and collaborate with partners to resolve issues.
• Manage vehicle movement and document operations at gates.
