Grand Beach Hotel Surfside is seeking a Front Desk Associate to warmly welcome guests, process check-ins/outs, handle payments and provide hotel information. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork with front office, reservations, housekeeping and accounting teams.

You will maintain guest records, generate reports, handle phone inquiries, and ensure smooth operation of computer systems per hotel procedures.

Qualifications

• Essential: High school graduate.
• Essential: Ability to compute accurate mathematics.
• Essential: Clear English communication with guests, management and co-workers.
• Essential: Legible communication and directions.
• Desirable: Some college or training in hospitality industry.
• Desirable: Front Office Receptionist experience.
• Desirable: Cashiering experience.
• Desirable: Knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Foreign language proficiency (Spanish, French or Japanese).
• Desirable: Auditing or statistician experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, hours of operation and room types.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs per hotel requirements.
• Maintain guest history files and communicate VIP arrivals.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports; run audit reports and manage cashiering procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information with courtesy and accuracy.
