Onvo is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle check-in/check-out, and provide information on hotel services and local attractions. The role requires courteous, professional communication and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy in-person setting.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This is an in-person, full-time position at a United States hotel location.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists arriving, departing and in-house guests with accurate information and services.
• Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, directions, local attractions, and guest concerns.
• Performs check-in procedures for arriving guests using computerized methods to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Processes guest departures, closes folios, and ensures accuracy of hotel charges at check-out.
• Handles cash transactions accurately and maintains guest accounts and records.
• Answers questions and accepts reservations using suggestive selling techniques to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Maintains good customer relations by addressing guest concerns promptly and knowledgeably.
• Operates front desk telephone system, routes calls, schedules wake-up calls, and assists guests for timely service.
• Completes shift checklists and processes mail, messages, and faxes to ensure timely information delivery.
• Maintains front desk logbook and communicates issues to the next shift and supervisor.
