Job summary

The MetroHealth System Life Flight Operations is seeking a Coordinator (EMT) Dispatch for a 72-hour night rotation. The role delivers start-to-finish call management and coordinates the movement of patients between scenes, hospitals, and facilities, serving as the primary touchpoint for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; Ohio EMT certification required.
• Current Ohio driver’s license and insurability eligibility.
• BLS certification and 1 year dispatching EMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of patients and aircraft/ground units.
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external customers.
• Ensure access to critical services and resources; resolve problems.
• Dispatch and monitor movement; support EMS and Fire Departments.
