Job summary

DESC is a Seattle-based nonprofit providing housing support and behavioral health services. The Crisis Solutions Center delivers stabilization and crisis care within a residential setting, staffed by a multidisciplinary team focused on recovery and re-engagement with community resources.

Position entails psychosocial assessments, risk management, one-on-one counseling, and development of short-term care plans.

Qualifications

• Eligible for a Licensed AAC credential or superseding credential.
• Master's degree in social work, psychology or related behavioral science, or a B.S. in Nursing with mental health focus.
• Ability to drive with WA license and insurable record; pass background check; obtain food handler permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments, risk and safety assessments, and recovery-oriented disposition plans.
• Conduct individual counseling and support stabilization within a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop care plans, link clients to community resources, and participate in staff trainings.
