Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist to supervise the compounding laboratory, ensuring quality and compliance in all compounded medications. This role requires guiding technicians, maintaining documentation, and adhering to USP standards under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge.

The position emphasizes patient consultation, regulatory coordination, and a strong CQI mindset. Evening shift runs 5:30pm–4:00am with a shift differential of $9/hour, and opportunities for training

Qualifications

• Supervise compounding personnel and processes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of compounding procedures and records.
• Maintain compliance with USP standards and state/federal regs.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise all compounding personnel.
• Perform and document compounding procedures and quality checks.
• Verify records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Assist in training and evaluation of compounding staff.
• Coordinate calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Follow USP, BOP, and internal guidelines for compounded meds.
• Maintain safety mindset and PPE usage in the lab.
• Apply USP <795>/<800> and related guidelines to compounding practices.
• Engage in patient consultation and error documentation as needed.
• Coordinate with PIC on regulatory matters.
• Participate in CQI initiatives and audits.
• Complete external training as required.
