Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Ohio to oversee compounding capabilities and act as a subject matter expert for compounded treatments. You will maximize quality and patient safety while dispensing medications in line with federal and state requirements.

Day shift options include Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat, 7am-5:30pm; you will work with R&D teams on new compounded formulations and maintain a safety-first lab environment with appropriate PPE and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist License in Ohio.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible shift times.
• Proficiency in Windows based computer systems.
• Must be able to undergo respirator fit testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform and accurately document compounding procedures and dispensing of compounded preparations.
• Train and evaluate compounding personnel.
• Review and approve materials for use in compounding.
• Oversee equipment for compounding and monitor the environment with maintenance team.
• Develop and evaluate standard operating procedures for the lab and formulations.
• Coordinate with PIC for personnel, compliance and regulatory matters.
