Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to operating locations and turn around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will drive tandem/tractor/straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, performing safety checks and ensuring secure loading.

New Hire Training: mandatory 2-week program located in Clanton, Alabama upon hire. Travel/logistics to be discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; pass pre-employment drug test; pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect and secure freight; ensure proper loading.
• Maintain route paperwork and complete required logs.
• Drive and deliver trailers on scheduled routes.
• Unloading and housekeeping as required; assist with returns.
