Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support its food distribution network in the United States. The role centers on transporting empty trailers to operating locations and turning around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, in a timely and safe manner.

You will operate a tandem tractor-trailer or straight truck across intrastate and interstate routes, comply with DOT regulations, and collaborate with customers and co-workers to resolve questions quickly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR past 3 years.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks on tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Inspects equipment and secures loads.
• Drives and delivers trailers per schedule; unloads as needed.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs according to DOT and company requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
