Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to operating company facilities and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will drive a tandem/tractor trailer and adhere to DOT regulations while communicating with customers and coworkers.

The role requires a CDL A with doubles endorsement, 12 months of commercial driving experience, and a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday–Thursday).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Able to work 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks on tractor/trailer per DOT rules.
• Drive and deliver trailers on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Maintain route paperwork and logs per DOT and company requirements.
• Unhook and hook trailers safely; secure freight and perform daily hours of service logs.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and safe.
• Complete any other duties to support the team.
