Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Huntsville, AL to transport empty trailers and deliver full trailers to yard locations. This role requires operating various tractor units and abiding by DOT rules, with a focus on safety and timely service.

The ideal candidate has a CDL A with doubles, at least 12 months of commercial driving, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift 60–90 pounds. This full-time position runs Sunday–Thursday nights with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one; able to lift 60–90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Ensure proper loading and securement of freight.
• Drive/trailers according to route schedules, including interstate travel.
• Complete daily hours of service logs and required paperwork.
• Perform housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area.
