Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Florida to transport empty trailers to operating locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tandem/tractor/straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, following DOT regulations and safety guidelines.

Excellent communication with customers and team is essential. The role requires a CDL-A with a doubles endorsement, 21+ years old, 12+ months of driving, and availability for the Sunday–Thursday

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to pass pre-employment tests.
• 3rd shift availability: Sunday–Thursday nights.
• Clean MVR and valid DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Transport empty and full trailers to Operating Company locations and domicile/shuttle yards.
• Perform safety checks on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per regulations.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures and park trailers securely.
• Maintain clean, organized trailers and yard areas.
