Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers to and from operating locations and to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. Ensure safety, DOT compliance, and timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates hold a CDL A, have 12 months of commercial driving experience, and can pass a pre-employment drug test. Shift is 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday; pay is around $75,000 with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Valid CDL A with doubles endorsement where applicable.
• Must be 21+ years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT health card valid or ability to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Drive and deliver trailers on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Ensure proper loading and securing of freight.
• Complete hours-of-service records per regulations.
• Operate equipment and maintain trailer cleanliness and security.
• Communicate with customers and team professionally.
