Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers to operating company locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate tandem, tractor, or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, complying with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Key requirements include a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, 1st shift Sunday–Thursday starting at 1 pm, 21+ years old, clean MVR, and pre-employment drug and road tests.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A and Doubles Endorsement required.
• 1st shift schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 1 pm start.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; pass pre-employment drug test and road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect and secure trailers and freight; ensure route paperwork is available.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule; hook/unhook safely.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service records as required by DOT and company policies.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized; perform other duties as assigned.
