Job summary

Summit Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor for the guest services team in a part-time capacity. The role balances revenue, processes guest check-ins/outs, and maintains system readiness for the next day’s operations.

The Night Auditor will handle audit reports, daily revenue summaries, and communications with the Corporate Office’s Accounting Manager. Strong math, leadership, and IT troubleshooting are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as Night Auditor in a name-brand hotel; Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and solid communication abilities.
• Planning and organizational aptitude with the ability to reprioritize quickly.
• Working knowledge of Front Office systems and brand-specific tools; Microsoft apps and POS.
• Ability to diagnose and repair simple computer problems and balance accounts.

Responsibilities

• Run audit reports/journals from Front Office Systems.
• Prepare daily revenue reports and breakdowns for F&B operations.
• Make corrections and handle computer issues during the shift.
• Input revenue, expenses, and allowances to generate daily reports.
• Balance revenue and settlement accounts nightly; reset systems for next day.
• Ensure reports, back-ups, and vouchers are filed promptly.
• Process guest check-ins/outs and verify guest information.
• Maintain front desk cleanliness and professional guest interaction.
• Communicate with Corporate/Accounting on A/R and A/P processes.
