Job summary

Park Place Hotel & Conference Center in Traverse City, MI seeks a friendly Night Auditor to manage guest registration, checkout and cashiering in a fast-paced environment.

You will support front desk operations, respond to guest inquiries, and assist in maintaining smooth hotel daily procedures. Training and career development opportunities are available as part of our team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts.
• Attention to detail and organized.

Responsibilities

• Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that are not already in house.
• Explain and provide any promotional items to each guest checking in.
• Respond promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met.
• Cover other areas of hotel as needed.
• Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form.
• Complete the maintenance log whenever a complaint is reported.
• Maintain all areas of the front desk.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
