Job summary

Bridges Bay Resort in Arnolds Park, IA is seeking a friendly Night Auditor to handle guest registration, checkout, and cashiering in a fast-paced environment. You will help ensure smooth nightly operations and guest satisfaction across front desk activities.

The role emphasizes customer service and accurate cash handling, with additional duties such as responding to inquiries and maintaining the front desk during night hours. A positive, professional presence is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Experience handling cash and credit card procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Review guaranteed arrivals and verify credit cards.
• Explain and provide promotional items to guests checking in.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints.
• Cover other areas of the hotel as needed.
• Document accidents with the incident report form.
• Maintain all front desk areas.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that are not already in house
• Explain and provide any promotional items to each guest checking in
• Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met
• Cover other areas of hotel as needed
• Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
• Complete the maintenance log whenever a complaint is reported
• Maintain all areas of the front desk
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required

Previous Experience In Hospitality Preferred

• Customer service experience required
• Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts
• Attention to detail and organized
