Job summary

Regency Hotel Management in Sioux Falls is seeking a friendly Hotel Night Auditor for a part-time night shift (Friday and Saturday 11 PM–7 AM). You will assist guests with registration, checkout, and cashiering, ensure accurate nightly balances, and deliver courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, prior hospitality or cash-handling experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and basic math.
• Attention to detail and organized.

Responsibilities

• Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify credit card validity.
• Process both check-ins and check-outs.
• Perform night audit to balance credit and debit charges.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints and offer alternatives.
• Cover other areas of the hotel as needed.
• Document guest accidents with accident reports.
• Maintain front desk and surrounding areas.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that are not already in house
• Processing both check-ins and check-outs
• Performance of night audit process to ensure balance of credit and debit charges
• Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met
• Cover other areas of hotel as needed
• Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
• Complete the maintenance log whenever a complaint is reported
• Maintain all areas of the front desk as well as property walks
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
