Job summary

Mankato Hilton Garden Inn is seeking a friendly Night Auditor to join our fast-paced front desk team. You will handle check-in/check-out, cashiering, and guest inquiries with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include reviewing guaranteed arrivals, processing payments, and maintaining the front desk and related records. Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred; high school diploma required. Medical/dental, PTO, and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in hospitality or guest services preferred.
• Experience handling cash and basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests during check-in and checkout.
• Process payments and verify credit cards.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues or offer alternatives as needed.
• Maintain front desk areas and assist other hotel departments as required.
• Document incidents and maintain maintenance logs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that are not already in house
• Explain and provide any promotional items to each guest checking in
• Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met
• Cover other areas of hotel as needed
• Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
• Complete the maintenance log whenever a complaint is reported
• Maintain all areas of the front desk
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required
• Previous experience in hospitality preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts
• Attention to detail and organized
