Interurban Suites Hotel is seeking a reliable Night Auditor to join our front desk team for the overnight shift. This role combines front desk duties with security and financial reconciliation, delivered in a quiet, guest-focused environment.

You will handle late check-ins, perform audits, balance cash, and generate morning reports while ensuring guest safety and satisfaction throughout the night. Prior hotel experience is preferred, especially with night audit tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with computers and hotel management software.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Reliable transportation for overnight shift.

Responsabilités

• Provide courteous check-in and check-out for late-arriving and early-departing guests.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism.
• Assist with room assignments and upgrades when available.
• Monitor building security and guest safety throughout the night.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily audit procedures and reconcile front desk transactions.
• Balance cash drawers and prepare deposit summaries.
• Run and review daily revenue reports; verify rates, taxes, and postings.
• Process credit card batches and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare morning reports for management review.
• Update guest folios and resolve billing questions.
• Process group reservations and rooming lists.
• Maintain accurate guest registration records.
• Handle phone calls and messages for other departments.
• Monitor reservation platforms and respond to guest messages.
• Conduct security walks and monitor surveillance; coordinate with housekeeping for late check-outs.
