Kana Hotel Group is seeking a customer-focused front desk associate for our Tennessee location. You will manage guest check-ins, explain hotel amenities, and handle cash, credit card procedures, and inquiries with accuracy and courtesy.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, hospitality experience is preferred, and you will join a team that values reliable service and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in hospitality is preferred.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and basic math.
• Attention to detail and being organized are essential.
• Knowledge of the hotel layout, amenities, procedures and organization.

Responsabilités

• Review guaranteed arrivals and verify credit cards.
• Ensure day-use rooms are marked dirty for housekeeping.
• Explain promotional items to guests at check-in.
• Describe hotel amenities to guests (breakfast, spa, fitness center, voicemail).
• Document new commercial guests to open accounts.
• Investigate blocked rooms and coordinate maintenance to unblock.
• Ensure rollaway beds and cribs are correctly listed in the system.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints.
• Offer alternatives if guest requests cannot be met.
• Cover other hotel areas as needed.
• Document guest accidents with the accident report form.
• Maintain the front desk area to be clean and organized.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
