Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a Night Auditor to balance hotel income and expenses during each 24-hour cycle while serving as the overnight front desk Guest Service Agent. The role also acts as the hotel system liaison, opening tickets with Opera or SynXis as needed.

The candidate should have a High School diploma and roughly one year of hotel experience, with strong English skills and the ability to handle cash, compute variances, and communicate effectively with guests

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of hotel experience preferred.
• Reading and writing skills used for records, registration and reservations.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Mathematical skills, including basic math and variances.
• Problem solving, organizational, and training abilities preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Balance and audit room, food & beverage, and telephone revenue for accuracy.
• Prepare daily management reports and required supporting documentation.
• Set up breakfast service including hot/cold foods and beverage stations.
• Register guests, issue keys, and provide information on services and rewards.
• Process cash and credit transactions and post charges per procedures.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously and upsell rooms where possible.
• Maintain front desk operations and liaise with onsite management.
• Follow local laws regarding health, safety and alcohol service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
