Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Torrance, CA seeks a dedicated Night Auditor to balance all hotel income and expenses for a 24-hour period while serving as a Guest Service Agent on the overnight front desk shift. Open system tickets when issues arise with Opera, SynXis, or support.

The role requires balance/audit of revenues, reports, reservation processing, and guest service duties. Anticipated pay range is $22–$24 hourly with benefits and a strong emphasis on guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hotel experience preferred.
• Reading/writing skills for records and reservations.
• English literacy essential; other languages helpful.
• Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Balance and audit room, food, beverage and telephone revenues.
• Prepare daily management reports and GM reporting packs.
• Assist breakfast setup and hotel laundry tasks as needed.
• Handle guest registrations, keys, and Travel Pass info.
• Process cash/credit transactions and deposits accurately.
• Answer phones promptly and upsell rooms where possible.
