Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Desk/Hotel Cashier to balance daily revenue for rooms, restaurant, and bar, and to post settlements accurately in Novi, MI. The role includes front desk duties during shifts and ensuring correct cash handling, reporting, and guest service.

The position requires solid accounting knowledge, accuracy with data entry, and excellent English communication. Hotel environment and 24/7 operation demand flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable.
• Basic math and 10-key by touch proficiency.
• Ability to handle guest and employee concerns politely with proactive solutions.
• Ability to input information accurately on a moderately complex computer.
• Proficiency in reading/writing/speaking English; strong telephone etiquette.
• Ability to observe and detect emergency situations.

Responsabilités

• Balance room, restaurant and bar daily revenue and settlements.
• Post charges and balance guest accounts and house accounts.
• Maintain files and reset systems for next day operations.
• Assist front desk as needed and coordinate with other departments.
• Greet guests warmly and provide accurate information on hours and local attractions.
• Complete registration and code keys, certificates and coupons as required.
