Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor to verify front desk, restaurant, and bar accounting records, post and balance charges, and compile data for financial records. You will assist guests during check-in and check-out and provide hotel services information with a courteous, attentive approach.

Responsibilities include auditing Micros reports, balancing accounts nightly, inputting revenue data, and coordinating with departments to ensure smooth daily closes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting operations including AR/AP and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with a 10-key by touch for input accuracy.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Experience using hotel front desk software and reporting tools.
• Understanding of cash handling and credit card processing.
• Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily revenue reports by auditing Micros tapes and journals.
• Run audit reports and balance revenue and settlements nightly.
• Input revenue, expenses and allowances to generate daily statements.
• Process guest check-ins/outs and assist guests with services.
• Verify credit cards and balance cash/house accounts.
• Coordinate with front desk and food & beverage for daily close.
• Ensure all reports and backups are filed correctly.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with policies.
