Wyndham Garden Baronne Plaza in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to manage nightly financial reconciliations and guest services during the overnight shift. Responsibilities include auditing transactions, balancing revenue, and ensuring security and smooth handover to day staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hotel PMS or similar software.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work overnight shifts independently.
• Associate degree or higher in accounting, hospitality management, or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency with advanced accounting software and Microsoft Excel (preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform nightly audit of all hotel financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile daily revenue and prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
• Verify and balance cash drawers, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
• Provide front desk services during overnight hours, including guest check-in and check-out, handling reservations, and responding to guest inquiries or concerns.
• Monitor hotel security and safety protocols during the night shift and report any irregularities or incidents.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth handover to the day shift.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial and guest information.
