Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team in Portland, OR. This role focuses on front desk operations, nightly financial reconciliations, and guest service excellence during overnight hours.

The successful candidate will have strong computer skills, experience in hospitality or guest services, and the flexibility to work overnight shifts. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not required.
• Proficient with computers; reservation and accounting software helpful.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Process administrative, bookkeeping, and accounting tasks as required.
• Respond to inquiries, process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, and handle guest concerns.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports for hotel management and department heads.
• Audit and reconcile cash drawers, credit card transactions, room charges, and occupancy percentages.

Compensation

$21 hourly

Qualifications

• Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers is required; experience with reservation and accounting software is desired
• Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required
• Flexible overnight hours are required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred

Responsibilities

• Process additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as required
• Respond to inquiries, process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, resolve guest complaints, and other front office duties as required
• Produce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general manager
• Audit and reconcile all financial records such as cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, room charges, final bill preparation, and occupancy percentages
• Provide exceptional service to all hotel guests during their stay
