Job summary

Lotus Hospitality in Overland Park is seeking a night auditor to ensure precise financial recording and exceptional guest service at the front desk.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Previous hospitality experience is not required but preferred; training will be provided to grow with the property.

Qualifications

• Flexible overnight hours required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Computer proficiency; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonus.
• Front desk duties and guest services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property.
• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management.
• Process additional administrative, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures as required.
• Respond to inquiries, process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, resolve guest complaints, and other front office duties as required.
