The Higgins Hotel in New Orleans seeks a Night Audit Supervisor to oversee nightly financial operations and guest services. You will ensure accurate reports, balance accounts, and coordinate with other departments to maintain smooth overnight operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in accounting or hospitality is a plus.
• 6+ months front desk experience or similar.
• Previous night audit experience or similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and math skills.
• Proficiency with hotel PMS and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the night audit team to ensure timely completion of financial processes and reports.
• Conduct night audit procedures, balancing accounts, verifying charges, and reconciling discrepancies.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor adherence to hotel policies and procedures during the night shift.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and security to ensure smooth night operations.
• Provide exceptional guest service, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
• Train and mentor night audit team members and support new processes and technologies.
