Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Fremont Milpitas is seeking an overnight Front Desk Clerk with accounting responsibilities to balance room, restaurant and bar daily work, post and balance charges, and prepare daily revenue reports. You will reset systems for the next day and maintain files, ensuring accurate cash handling.

You should have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a similar operation, with good English communication.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a similar operation required.
• Additional language ability preferred.
• Ability to input data accurately and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Micros tapes/journals.
• Run audit reports from mainframe, Micros, and automated card systems.
• Make corrections and adjustments and troubleshoot system issues during shift.
• Input revenue/expenses into PC to generate daily reports.
• Balance revenue and settlement accounts nightly and reset systems for next day.
• Distribute reports and backups to A/R, A/P, and Payroll as needed.
• Review discrepancies in the Front Desk System and coordinate with departments.
