Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Lancaster, PA. The role is part-time (0.60 FTE) with night shifts, requiring NICU experience and current RN licensure.

Orientation will include prerequisites such as NRP, and the facility offers a comprehensive benefits package including tuition assistance and a comprehensive Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in state of employment
• AHA BLS certification required before end of orientation period
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in NICU
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required before end of orientation period

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs and develop nursing care plans
• Maintain medical records and document nursing actions
• Administer nursing care and medications while monitoring for adverse reactions
• Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Monitor patient conditions, document changes and report symptoms
• Ensure accurate, detailed reports and coordination with NICU team
