Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center in Lancaster, PA is seeking a NICU‑focused RN for a part‑time night shift (0.60 FTE). The role offers a $5.00/hour night differential and hours from 7:00P to 7:00A.

The RN will assess patient health problems, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and maintain detailed medical records while monitoring for changes in condition. Emphasis on high‑quality neonatal care and family support.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in PA or multistate license through the compact.
• AHA BLS certification required before end of orientation period.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a NICU setting.
• NRP certification required before end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
• Administer nursing care and medications as prescribed; monitor for reactions and side effects.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records; educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
