NICU Level IV Nurse – Night Shift

Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Registered Nurse NICU for a full-time night shift (7P-7A) to care for our Level IV NICU patients and support families in a high-acuity environment.

You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, plan and evaluate care, supervise non-licensed staff, and integrate teaching into practice while upholding Magnet-inspired standards and hospital policies. This role requires strong clinical and communication skills in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital).
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
• 1 year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in acute care.
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) must be obtained within 6 months.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope and policies.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
