Job summary

Medical City Dallas in Fort Worth area is seeking a Registered Nurse NICU for a Level IV unit on a full-time night shift (7P-7A). The role focuses on high-level neonatal care in a 108-bed NICU with a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate has ADN/BSN, TX RN license, and at least 1 year NICU experience, with required certifications and readiness to meet magnet-focused standards. A strong commitment to patient care and teaching is essential.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required with 12 months enrollment and 24 months completion.
• Texas RN license or compact license accepted.
• Minimum 1 year recent NICU RN experience in acute care.
• STABLE and Neonate Resuscitation within specified timeframes.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable within defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and direct patient care in NICU.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Supervise non-licensed staff within RN scope of practice.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
