Texas Health Dallas NICU is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a tight-knit unit providing care from 22 weeks onward in a fast-paced Level III NICU. The role features PRN, 7:00pm–7:00am shifts and requires dedication to high-quality patient care in a Magnet-designated hospital.

The position emphasizes teamwork, ongoing education, and opportunities for certification in High-Risk Neonatal Nursing, with a strong focus on safety, continuity of care, and family-centered practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• One year of clinical nurse experience or completion of an RN residency.
• Two years of NICU experience strongly preferred.
• Desire to be trained in transport.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient and plans the care.
• Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates outcomes.
• Maintains age-specific safety/infection control measures.
• Provides information to patients and families as needed.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and transfers.
