Qualifications

• Two years of Level IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• Texas RN license or compact license.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NTD Cardiac Stable Module must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in the unit during the shift.
• Coordinate admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput.
• Collaborate with management to create teamwork that improves outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when necessary.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and supplies management.
