Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Level IV NICU to provide high-quality, compassionate care for critically ill newborns on a full-time night shift (7P-7A). The role requires NICU experience, RN licensure in Texas, and adherence to Magnet standards.

The position includes comprehensive inpatient duties, supervision of support staff, and ongoing patient and family teaching within a busy tertiary care NICU network.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital).
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
• Minimum 1 year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and direct patient care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and resource use.
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope and policies.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

Formation
