Job summary

Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU to join our Level III unit on the night shift. This part-time role (24 hours) runs from 7:00pm to 7:00am at our Dallas facility.

Candidates must hold an RN license, with NICU or residency experience preferred and certifications including BCLS, NRP, NRPa, and CPI within required timeframes. The NICU team emphasizes high-quality pediatric care, continuous professional development, and opportunities for certification growth in

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing required or an Associate degree in Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• One year of clinical nursing experience or completion of an RN residency program.
• One year of NICU experience strongly preferred.
• RN license required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Implements age-specific safety and infection control measures.
• Initiates information delivery to patients and families.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and facilities.
