Job summary

Texas Health Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Level IV NICU. The role requires 1 year RN experience and NICU exposure, with 2 years NICU preferred. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate newborn care in a family-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or Associate degree from an accredited program required
• BSN preferred
• CLIA/foreign education equivalency compliance required
• 1 year RN experience or RN residency completed
• 2 years NICU experience preferred
• BCLS, NRP, PALS, NRPA, CPI certifications to be obtained within specified timelines

• Intervene as appropriate
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporate age-specific safety and infection control measures
• Maintain continuity of patient care during shifts and transfers
