Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in the United States is seeking an Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision in accordance with NFPA codes. This role requires NICET and/or state certification based on location and strong attention to safety.

You will document deficiencies, communicate with customers, use inspection tools, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• English reading/writing proficient
• Ability to read and interpret NFPA codes and blueprints
• Driver's license and clean driving record required

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems per NFPA codes.
• Record and report deficiencies to SFS and customers.
• Communicate professionally with customers and monitoring companies.
• Operate inspection tools (detectors, backflow kit, pumps).
• Coordinate and complete inspections as scheduled; may be on-call.
