Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced NFRA leader to drive the non-financial risk assessment program. You will lead cross-functional teams, identify and document non-financial risks, and ensure effective remediation across business units.

The role emphasizes data analysis, QA reviews, and timely governance reporting. You will partner with Operational Risk, Compliance, Financial Crimes, and Technology teams to strengthen risk controls and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of financial services experience, Big 4/risk consulting considered.
• Experience with enterprise risk programs, including risk, process, and control assessment/validation.
• Strong regulatory knowledge in Operational, Compliance, and/or Financial Crimes Risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead NFRA program oversight with stakeholders across 1st/2nd line of defense.
• Manage NFRA program components including timelines and risk identification.
• Identify, assess, and document non-financial risks; ensure remediation.
• Perform QA reviews of risk assessments and controls; elevate issues.
• Analyze risk data and prepare reports for senior management and governance forums.
• Collaborate with Operational Risk, Compliance, Financial Crimes, Technology, and other NFRA teams.
