Job summary

Morgan Stanley seeks a seasoned NFRA leader to design, implement, and sustain the firm’s non-financial risk framework across business units, technology, and risk functions. You will drive risk identification, assessment, and control validation while collaborating with Operational Risk, Compliance, and Financial Crimes teams.

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of financial services experience; Big 4/risk consulting considered.
  • Experience with enterprise risk programs, including risk, process, and control assessment and validation.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services regulatory environment, esp. Operational, Compliance, and/or Financial Crimes risk.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to tailor to technical/non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and oversee the NFRA program execution within first and second lines of defense.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, expectations, and delivery timelines; monitor progress and escalate risks.
  • Identify and document non-financial risks; ensure risks are understood and properly managed.
  • Conduct independent quality assurance reviews of risk assessments and controls; drive remediation.
  • Analyze risk and control data to identify trends and generate reports for senior management.
